How to design a proper call to action?
When you’re creating a landing page on your site, the first thing you’ll want to do is determine your main goal. Once you’ve figured that out, it is much easier to craft an effective call-to-action. Define whether you want your user to subscribe, download, learn more or sign up – and then make sure the user knows exactly what they’re going to get when they click the button. Your call-to-action should stand out from the rest of the page, but still fit into the website’s color scheme. Try to be clear, specific and action-oriented, and also write in first person. Even try to personalize it, if you can!
Key points to remember:
- Focus on your call-to-action when creating a landing page
- Figure out what your goal is and clearly define that in your call-to-action
- Make sure that the user knows what they’re going to receive in return
- Be clear, specific and action-oriented in your call-to-action
