Mudd Advertising Employee Benefits.
Two medical plans are offered, a PPO and HMO through Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. The employee and Mudd Advertising share the cost of the plan.
Flexible Benefit Plan
Pre-tax health care and dependent care spending accounts are available for employees to participate through payroll deduction.
Employees are offered the opportunity to enroll in short-term disability through our life insurance carrier. Employees pay the full cost of the coverage.
Full-time employees are eligible for 50% tuition reimbursement for a class related to their current position or position of advancement after two years of employment. They must maintain a C average for the completed course(s).
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
This benefit is designed to assist employees and their families with resources and solutions for various problems that can be encountered through Covenant Clinic. It is a confidential service and Mudd Advertising covers the monthly cost for all employees.
A comprehensive dental plan is offered through Delta Dental of Iowa. The plan provides six levels of benefits: diagnostic/preventative, restorative, endodontic, periodontal, prosthetics and orthodontics. The employee and Mudd Advertising share the cost of the plan.
Mudd Advertising provides life insurance equal to one time your annual earnings and accidental death equal to two times your annual earnings. Optional additional life insurance and dependent life insurance is available.
Paid Time Off
Full-time employees earn 40 hours after 6 months; 80 hours for 1-2 years; 120 hours for 3-5 years; 160 hours for 6-9 years; 200 hours for 10+ years. Part-time employees earn paid time off at a pro-rated rate. Mudd Advertising observes six paid holidays for full-time employees.
Mudd Advertising has an on-site fitness center on their Cedar Falls campus for employees and their families to use. The receptionist has sign-up forms which must be completed before use.
Verizon is offering employees of Mudd Advertising a 10% discount on phones and accessories for personal use as well as 10% off your monthly bill. This is through Verizon company-owned stores.
Employees are offered the opportunity to enroll in vision insurance through Avesis. Employees pay the full cost of the coverage.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
The plan covers 60% of your monthly compensation. Mudd Advertising pays the cost of the disability coverage.
Mudd Advertising’s 401(k) plan is through John Hancock. Employees are eligible to contribute at the beginning of the first new quarter after one full calendar year of employment. Mudd Advertising matches the first 3% contributed at 100% and match 50% for the fourth and fifth percent the employee contributes.
The local hospital offers Sick Bay for children who are not able to attend day care or school due to illness. Mudd Advertising pays for half of the daily rate for employees who utilize the service so they can be at work and know their sick child is in good hands.
