Behind the Scenes: A day in the life of Seth Drury

Name Seth Evan Drury Nickname I’ve had multiple aliases: D-Train, “The Judge and” as in Seth “The Judge and” Drury, Gonzo (my schnozz looks like the muppets – or so I’ve been told), Tall Boy, Tall Guy, TG (short for Tall Guy), Sethery, Sethicle, Sethew, Sethtopher (people like to add on my name instead of make it shorter and no Sethtopher is not my full name it’s Sethosaurus Rex) and finally my favorite – Most Interesting Man in the World. (I don’t always make up my own nicknames but when I do – I steal them)
Title Mr. Seth Drury How long have you worked at Mudd 522 days What do you do here: Anything and everything – but mostly I make sure projects get done on time, on budget at a high quality that will provide results for our clients while keeping them happy, thus creating future opportunities for Mudd. Describe a typical day: Ha humor. Typical day – there is no such thing and that is what I enjoy. Everyday brings something different, this job continues to throw me seven different kinds of smoke. What’s your favorite part about your job: Creating and sustaining relationships with clients and co-workers. Why do you do what you do: Because I do… but in all seriousness, because I always enjoyed putting puzzle pieces together as a kid. I loved taking broken things and fixing them. I love taking ideas and putting them together whether my own or collaborated with others and making something that will not only be effective but successful. Your best day at Mudd ever: Either the day I had multiple dunks in lunch time basketball, the day I got in the cash machine or the day two clients sent emails stating how wonderful it is to work with myself and Mudd. What inspires you: My younger brother, my parents and friends. The people I surround myself with not only inspire me but push me because they know what I’m capable of and what my dreams and goals are. A random fact about yourself: I’ve broken my nose 3 times. If you are in the creative realm, who inspires you? What I see daily inspires me. Different advertisements, things on the internet – you can honestly use everything in your daily life as an inspiration, especially when speaking in terms of creativity. Because with everything you are going to have an opinion of love or hate (maybe not that strong) and that will inspire/influence you in the future whether you realize it or not. What makes Mudd a great place to work: Other than the free popcorn and the facilities we have at our fingertips – my co-workers. Anything else you’d like to add: Have a great day and keep following/reading the Mudd blog, the masterpiece I am creating may eventually make it on here. (That is once someone gives me/I can think of a topic – minor details)
