Mudd is Breaking Ground on a New Office Building

“Muddville” is expanding! By March 2017, Mudd Advertising will have a new $1.5 million office building in the Cedar Falls Industrial & Technology Park. Mudd Advertising was founded in 1981 by Jim Mudd Sr. In the summer of 1997, the firm moved to its current location on Technology Parkway, and it has been growing and expanding ever since its conception. Mudd currently has tenants like BSN Sports, Care Initiaives Hospice, Progressive Insurance and others in bulidings on the Mudd campus. This new building will have even more space for tenants. The newest Mudd Campus Business Park Building will be located at 1304 Technology Parkway, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. Ground breaking and construction are now underway with target date of completion March 1, 2017. The building will be a total of 15,000 square feet, and the building already has 1 tenant. Storey Kenworthy, an office furniture firm in Des Moines, will be one of the tenants in this building. They will take 5,000 square feet of the building, so Mudd is looking for additional tenants for 5,000 up to 10,000 square feet. “We’re really excited to have Storey Kenworthy. They’re an 80-year-old company,” Mudd said. “The other 10,000 square feet is open for business. Our plan is to lease that space to companies that are expanding in the Cedar Valley or want to come or relocate to the Cedar Valley. We believe Cedar Falls is growing. Permits are up. We believe Cedar Falls is going to continue to grow.” Mudd is very excited to provide more space for companies to grow and thrive in Cedar Falls. If you are interested in being a tenant, contact Mudd!
