Employee Profile – Ben Barnett

Name: Ben Barnett

How long have you worked at Mudd? A year in August

What did you do prior to working at Mudd? I worked at the Courier in the Sports Department and at River Plaza Athletic Club.

What are your favorite 3 things about working at Mudd? The people, the food and the money

How many siblings do you have, and where do you fall in your family? I’m in the middle. I have an older brother named Nick (kind of a goon), and a half brother in Dubuque named Cameron.

Do you have any unique talents? I layer up like Batman.

Who is someone that you don’t see on a daily basis, yet they inspire you?  Why? This is a deep question. I suppose my high school history teacher – Mr. Schnieders. He is a man of impeccable character.

If someone wants to make you smile, they’ll: Fall down. It’s sadistic, but I get a good chuckle when people fall down.

What’s a gift you’ve received that you’ll never forget? I don’t get a big kick out of gifts. They don’t do much for me.

One way you clear your mind is to: I like to write.

What is a goal or two you have for the next year? To be happy, and to be a better person tomorrow than I am today.

What is your dream car? I’ve never thought about it. I suppose something crazy like a Bugatti. But my Toyota Corolla is pretty sweet.
